Max Friz directed the development of BMW’s first motorcycle, the R 32. This tank protector brings a decorative Sport Tuning accent to a suitable flat area of a motorcycle fuel tank while serving a practical everyday purpose. The Pro Lux style pairs a premium vinyl base with a 3D domed resin coating, creating a layered surface designed to help protect the selected area from scuffs and scratches. A self-adhesive backing allows the protector to be positioned on the prepared flat section without introducing an additional fitting process. Its confirmed scratch-resistant, waterproof, tear-resistant and UV-resistant properties make it suited to regular outdoor exposure, although resistance does not mean the surface will remain unmarked under every condition. The product also retains a neat appearance during outdoor use, providing an assured visual finish that complements the motorcycle’s existing presentation. Installation is limited to a suitable FLAT surface only; the protector is not intended for rounded, curved or contoured portions of the tank.
