The Viper's production numbers varied dramatically by year. The best-selling year was 1994, when Dodge built over 3,000 units of the original RT/10. By contrast, the final year of production in 2017 saw fewer than 600 cars leave the Conner Avenue factory. That decline was not a sign of waning interest — rather, it reflected the increasing exclusivity and collector-car pricing that pushed the Viper into a niche occupied by Ferraris and Lamborghinis.
