The 812 Competizione took the already extreme 812 Superfast and pushed it further into track-car territory. The 6.5-liter V12 was revised to produce 819 horsepower — making it the most powerful series-production V12 engine in Ferrari history at the time — and the redline was raised to 9,500 RPM. Weight was reduced by 38 kilograms through the use of carbon fiber for the front bumper, rear spoiler, and numerous interior components. The Competizione also featured a new version of the Virtual Short Wheelbase rear-wheel-steering system for sharper handling response on circuit. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems suit that track-focused refinement. The Ferrari shield is reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at 1,440 dpi with fade-resistant solvent inks. A thick dome of UV-stabilized polyurethane resin covers the print, forming a crystal-clear, scratch-resistant, waterproof surface. The adhesive is an industrial acrylic film behind a protective liner. Clean the cap, peel, position the emblem, and press for thirty seconds. The bond is permanent — no tools, no clips, no drilling.
