The Ferrari 166 Inter was the marque's first true grand tourer — a car designed for comfortable long-distance driving rather than pure racing. Produced from 1948 to 1950, it used the same 2.0-liter Colombo V12 as the racing 166 MM but in a softer state of tune, producing 110 horsepower. The bodywork was supplied by various Italian coachbuilders, including Touring, Stabilimenti Farina, and Vignale, meaning that no two 166 Inters looked exactly alike. This tradition of individual coachwork would continue at Ferrari well into the 1960s. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems connect modern Ferrari owners to that founding GT tradition. The Ferrari shield is reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at 1,440 dpi with solvent-based inks. A thick dome of UV-stabilized polyurethane resin covers the print, forming a crystal-clear, scratch-resistant, waterproof surface. The adhesive is an industrial acrylic film with a peel-away liner.
