The 296 GTS is the open-top variant of the groundbreaking 296 GTB, featuring a retractable hardtop that folds away in 14 seconds to expose the cabin and the sound of the V6 turbo hybrid powertrain to the open air. The mechanical specification is identical to the coupe — 819 combined horsepower from the twin-turbocharged V6 and electric motor — and the weight penalty of the folding roof mechanism is just 70 kilograms. The GTS offers the same Assetto Fiorano track package as the coupe, including fixed-rate Multimatic dampers, carbon-fiber weight savings, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2 R tires. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems suit both body styles equally. The Ferrari crest is reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at high resolution with fade-resistant solvent inks. A thick dome of UV-stabilized polyurethane resin covers the print, forming a crystal-clear, scratch-resistant, waterproof surface. The adhesive is an industrial acrylic film.
