The manettino dial on the steering wheel is one of Ferrari's most recognizable innovations. Introduced on the F430 in 2004, it allows the driver to select from multiple driving modes — typically including wet, comfort, sport, race, and sometimes a fully disabled traction control setting — with a single rotary switch. The concept came directly from Formula 1, where drivers use steering-wheel-mounted controls to adjust dozens of parameters while racing at over 200 miles per hour. On road cars, the manettino adjusts traction control sensitivity, gearbox shift speed, damper stiffness, and electronic differential behavior in one coordinated move. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems carry that F1-derived DNA. The Ferrari shield is reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at 1,440 dpi with fade-resistant inks.
