The Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Competizione — often called the 250 GT Boano after its coachbuilder — was one of the earliest road-going Ferraris designed to appeal to wealthy gentlemen drivers who wanted to race on weekends and drive to work during the week. Produced from 1956 to 1957, the Boano featured elegant, understated bodywork that concealed a race-ready 3.0-liter Colombo V12 producing 220 horsepower.
