The Ferrari 340 America won the Mille Miglia in 1951 with Alberto Ascari behind the wheel, covering the thousand-mile route from Brescia to Rome and back at an average speed that was extraordinary for public roads of the era. The 4.1-liter Lampredi V12 engine — a larger and torquier unit than the Colombo V12 — produced 220 horsepower and gave the car a decisive advantage in the long, straight sections of the route. The 340 America was one of the first Ferraris to be sold in the American market, establishing the transatlantic relationship between the brand and its largest modern customer base. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems honor that American connection. The Ferrari shield is reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at 1,440 dpi with solvent-based inks.
