The original 1965 Shelby GT350 transformed the Ford Mustang from a stylish but modest pony car into a legitimate road-racing weapon. Shelby American took the Mustang fastback, replaced the standard suspension with stiffer springs and Koni adjustable shocks, added a larger front anti-roll bar, and fitted a high-performance version of the 289 cubic-inch V8 that produced 306 horsepower. The car was homologated for SCCA B-Production racing, and in competition trim it dominated the class, winning the national championship in 1965, 1966, and 1967. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems carry that original competition pedigree. Each emblem features the Shelby badge reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at 1,440 dpi with solvent-based inks for lasting color accuracy. A thick dome of UV-stabilized polyurethane resin covers the entire print, forming a crystal-clear, scratch-resistant, waterproof surface that blocks UV radiation and handles brake-dust contamination.
