The GMC Syclone and Typhoon were the performance trucks that shocked the automotive world in the early 1990s. The 1991 Syclone — a modified GMC Sonoma compact pickup — used a turbocharged 4.3-liter V6 producing 280 horsepower, paired with a full-time all-wheel-drive system and a four-speed automatic transmission.
