Holden Special Vehicles — HSV — was the performance division that took factory Commodores and transformed them into some of the fastest sedans in the world. Founded in 1987 as a joint venture between Holden and Tom Walkinshaw Racing, HSV modified Commodores with larger engines, uprated suspensions, bigger brakes, aggressive body kits, and performance exhaust systems. The most powerful HSV models — the GTS, the Maloo ute, and the limited-edition GTSR W1 — used supercharged 6.2-liter LS-derived V8 engines producing up to 636 horsepower, making them faster in a straight line than many European sports cars costing three times as much. HSV vehicles are now highly sought-after collector's items. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems serve the HSV community. Each emblem features the Holden badge reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at 1,440 dpi with solvent-based inks for lasting accuracy. A thick dome of UV-stabilized polyurethane resin covers the print, forming a crystal-clear, scratch-resistant, waterproof surface. The adhesive is an industrial acrylic film.
