The HRE3D+ project was a groundbreaking collaboration between HRE and GE Additive that produced the world's first 3D-printed titanium wheel. Using electron beam melting technology, the wheel was built layer by layer from Grade 5 titanium powder, creating an organic, lattice-like spoke structure that would be impossible to manufacture using any conventional method. The design demonstrated how additive manufacturing can produce automotive components that are simultaneously lighter, stronger, and more visually striking than anything achievable through forging, casting, or machining. Although the HRE3D+ was a concept piece rather than a production wheel, it showcased the future of wheel manufacturing and reinforced HRE's position at the cutting edge of wheel engineering innovation. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems carry that pioneering engineering spirit. Each emblem features the HRE badge reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at 1,440 dpi with solvent-based inks for lasting accuracy. A thick dome of UV-stabilized polyurethane resin covers the print, forming a crystal-clear, scratch-resistant, waterproof surface. The adhesive is a pre-applied industrial acrylic film. Clean the cap, peel, position the emblem, and press for thirty seconds. The bond is permanent — no tools, no clips, no drilling. Sizes from 20 mm to 120 mm. Custom diameters upon request.
