Malcolm Sayer was the aircraft engineer turned automotive designer whose work at Jaguar produced some of the most aerodynamically refined cars of the twentieth century. Unlike his contemporaries who relied on artistic intuition, Sayer used mathematical calculations derived from his aircraft industry experience to define the curves of every body panel — a scientific approach to automotive design that was decades ahead of its time. His work on the C-Type, D-Type, E-Type, and XJ13 created cars that sliced through the air with minimal resistance while maintaining visual beauty that rival designers could only admire. Sayer's influence on Jaguar's design language persists to this day. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems carry that aerodynamic heritage. Each emblem features the Jaguar leaper reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at high resolution with fade-resistant solvent inks.
