The Tom Walkinshaw Racing Jaguar XJ-S was one of the most successful touring cars of the 1980s, winning the European Touring Car Championship in 1984 with a campaign so dominant that it established the TWR-Jaguar partnership that would later produce Le Mans victories. The TWR XJ-S used a modified version of Jaguar's V12 engine producing approximately 450 horsepower, and its victories against the BMW 635CSi, Rover SD1, and Volvo 240 Turbo brought Jaguar back to the forefront of European motorsport after years of absence. The success of the touring car program directly led to the Group C prototype program that won Le Mans. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems honor that touring car dominance. Each emblem features the Jaguar leaper reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at high resolution with fade-resistant solvent inks. A thick dome of UV-stabilized polyurethane resin covers the print, forming a crystal-clear, scratch-resistant, waterproof surface. The adhesive is an industrial acrylic film.
