The Jaguar E-Type Series 2, produced from 1968 to 1971, was the revised version of the E-Type that incorporated changes required by American federal safety regulations. The most visible changes were the larger, uncovered headlights — replacing the glass-faired headlights of the Series 1 — repositioned front indicators, and a larger grille opening. Under the skin, the Series 2 featured revised carburetion, a new exhaust system, and improved cooling to meet the stricter emissions standards being implemented in the US market. While some purists prefer the slimmer Series 1, the Series 2 offers the same fundamental driving experience with improved usability and better interior ventilation. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems suit that Series 2 E-Type heritage. Each emblem features the Jaguar leaper reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at high resolution with fade-resistant solvent inks. A thick dome of UV-stabilized polyurethane resin covers the print, forming a crystal-clear, scratch-resistant, waterproof surface. The adhesive is an industrial acrylic film.
