The Willys Jeep Station Wagon — introduced in 1946 — was one of the first steel-bodied station wagons in American automotive history and helped establish the utility vehicle segment that would eventually evolve into the modern SUV. The wagon used the same Go Devil four-cylinder engine as the Willys MB military Jeep, and it was available in both two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations.
