The 4xe pairs a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with two electric motors and a 17.3-kWh battery pack to produce a combined 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque — significantly more than the standard Pentastar V6. The electric-only range of approximately 21 miles allows most commuters to drive emission-free on battery power alone, while the combustion engine provides unlimited range for longer journeys and trail adventures.
