The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon's electronically locking front and rear differentials are the single most important off-road feature that distinguishes the Rubicon from all other Wrangler trims. When engaged, each locking differential forces both wheels on that axle to rotate at exactly the same speed, ensuring that torque is delivered equally to both wheels regardless of traction conditions. In practice, this means that if one wheel is completely off the ground, the locked differential continues to send full power to the other wheel that still has contact with the ground. Front and rear lockers combined with the Rock-Trac transfer case create a drivetrain that can extract the Rubicon from situations that would completely strand any open-differential vehicle. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems complement that Rubicon locking capability. Each emblem features the Jeep grille reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at high resolution with fade-resistant solvent inks. A thick dome of UV-stabilized polyurethane resin covers the print, forming a crystal-clear, scratch-resistant, waterproof surface. The adhesive is an industrial acrylic film.
