The KTM R 100 entered series production in 1953, representing a clear point in the company's documented motorcycle history. In a different context, the Opulent Line Signature Edition accessory is intended to help protect a suitable flat area of a motorcycle fuel tank from everyday surface scuffs and scratches. Its confirmed build uses a premium vinyl base topped with a 3D domed resin coating, combining a smooth foundation with a raised decorative finish. The included self-adhesive backing allows the protector to be attached to the selected flat tank area without introducing any unconfirmed adhesive claims. Once fitted, the construction offers confirmed scratch resistance along with waterproof, tear-resistant and UV-resistant characteristics. These qualities make it suitable for adding a protective surface layer where regular motorcycle use may produce visible scuffs or scratches. The product is guaranteed to retain a neat appearance during outdoor use, although the guarantee does not specify a set duration or lifetime. The static workshop content separately provides size, installation and quantity information, so no additional measurements or fitting details are invented here. Application is limited to a suitable flat area only. The protector is not described for rounded, curved or contoured portions of the tank, nor is it presented as offering protection from events beyond the everyday surface wear identified in the product brief.
