The Lamborghini Islero — produced from 1968 to 1969 — was a refined grand tourer designed by Mario Marazzi at Marazzi that replaced the 400 GT as Lamborghini's front-engined grand touring model. The Islero's understated styling contrasted sharply with the dramatic Miura that shared the showroom floor, offering a more conservative and elegant alternative for buyers who wanted the V12 performance without the visual extravagance. The 3.9-liter V12 produced up to 350 horsepower in the Islero S variant, and the car's comfortable interior and refined road manners made it a genuine grand touring machine suitable for extended journeys across continental Europe. Only 225 Isleros were produced, making it one of the rarest and least known Lamborghini models. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems honor that subtle Lamborghini grand tourer.
