The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ — Super Veloce Jota — reclaimed the Nürburgring Nordschleife production car lap record in 2018 with a time of 6 minutes 44.97 seconds, demonstrating that the naturally aspirated V12 flagship could still compete with and defeat turbocharged and hybridized rivals from competing manufacturers.
