The Lancia Lambda — produced from 1922 to 1931 — was one of the most technically advanced automobiles of the 1920s, introducing a pioneering load-bearing monocoque body structure that eliminated the heavy separate chassis used by virtually every other manufacturer of the era. The Lambda's monocoque construction reduced weight and lowered the center of gravity compared to body-on-frame designs, while the independent front suspension — another Lambda innovation — dramatically improved ride comfort and handling precision on the rough roads of the period. The 2.1-liter and later 2.4-liter narrow-angle V4 engine was compact, light, and powerful for its displacement. The Lambda demonstrated Lancia's philosophy of engineering leadership over marketing. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems honor that groundbreaking 1920s Lancia. Each emblem features the Lancia shield reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at 1,440 dpi with solvent-based inks for lasting accuracy.
