The Mazda Tribute and CX-7 represented Mazda's earlier entries into the crossover SUV market before the SkyActiv era transformed the brand's product strategy. The Tribute — produced from 2000 to 2011 — was a compact SUV that shared its platform with the Ford Escape and provided practical family transportation with available four-wheel drive. The CX-7 — produced from 2006 to 2012 — offered a more dynamic, sportier crossover experience with an available turbocharged engine that provided genuine performance in the crossover segment. Both vehicles helped establish Mazda's presence in the SUV market and paved the way for the SkyActiv-era CX-5 that would become the brand's best-selling vehicle globally. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems honor that crossover heritage. Each emblem features the Mazda badge reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at high resolution with fade-resistant solvent inks. A thick dome of UV-stabilized polyurethane resin covers the print, forming a crystal-clear, scratch-resistant, waterproof surface. The adhesive is an industrial acrylic film.
