Takuminuri is Mazda's proprietary painting technology that applies multiple layers of paint with robotic precision to create colours of extraordinary depth and three-dimensionality that rival the finest hand-applied lacquer finishes. The Takuminuri process uses specially developed painting robots that apply an ultra-thin, highly uniform reflective base layer followed by a precisely controlled translucent tint layer that creates the illusion of depth — the eye perceives light reflecting from both the base layer and the tint layer, creating a three-dimensional colour effect that appears to glow from within the paint surface. Takuminuri technology is currently used for the Soul Red Crystal, Artisan Red Premium, Machine Grey, and Rhodium White Premium colours that have become synonymous with the Mazda brand identity. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems complement that Takuminuri paint excellence. Each emblem features the Mazda badge reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at high resolution with fade-resistant solvent inks. A thick dome of UV-stabilized polyurethane resin covers the print, forming a crystal-clear, scratch-resistant, waterproof surface. The adhesive is a pre-applied industrial acrylic film. Clean the cap, peel, position the emblem, and press for thirty seconds. The bond is permanent — no tools, no clips, no drilling. Sizes from 20 mm to 120 mm. Custom diameters on request.
