Mazda's Takuminuri — literally meaning painted by a master's hand — is a premium paint technology that creates colour depth and richness beyond what conventional automotive painting processes can achieve. The Takuminuri process uses precisely layered coats including reflective base layers and translucent colour coats that allow light to penetrate and reflect within the paint structure, creating colours that appear to glow from within and shift dramatically between light and shadow across the flowing Kodo body surfaces. The technology is responsible for Mazda's most iconic colours including Soul Red Crystal, Machine Grey, and Artisan Red Premium. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems complement that master painter heritage. Each emblem features the Mazda badge reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at high resolution with fade-resistant solvent inks. A thick dome of UV-stabilized polyurethane resin covers the print, forming a crystal-clear, scratch-resistant, waterproof surface. The adhesive is an industrial acrylic film.
