The SkyActiv-G petrol engine achieves a world-leading compression ratio of 13:1 in standard variants and up to 14:1 in the Skyactiv-X, enabling more complete combustion that extracts more energy from each unit of fuel and delivers improved torque, power, and fuel efficiency compared to conventional petrol engines with lower compression ratios. Achieving such high compression ratios without causing destructive engine knock required Mazda engineers to redesign the piston shape, optimise the fuel injection pattern, create a 4-2-1 exhaust system that eliminates exhaust gas interference between cylinders, and carefully manage combustion chamber temperatures. The result is an engine that feels naturally responsive, delivers strong torque from low rpm, and achieves efficiency improvements of approximately 15 percent compared to the previous generation. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems complement that high-compression engine innovation. Each emblem features the Mazda badge reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at high resolution with fade-resistant solvent inks. A thick dome of UV-stabilized polyurethane resin covers the print, forming a crystal-clear, scratch-resistant, waterproof surface. The adhesive is a pre-applied industrial acrylic film. Clean the cap, peel, position the emblem, and press for thirty seconds. The bond is permanent — no tools, no clips, no drilling. Sizes from 20 mm to 120 mm. Custom diameters on request.
