Mazda's i-Activ all-wheel-drive system is one of the most intelligent and efficient AWD systems available in the automotive market, using 27 sensors that monitor driver inputs, road conditions, and vehicle behaviour over 200 times per second to predict traction loss before it occurs and proactively distribute torque to the wheels with the most grip. Unlike reactive AWD systems that wait for wheel slip before engaging, i-Activ continuously anticipates changes in surface conditions based on factors including steering angle, accelerator position, yaw rate, and even the wipers being activated to indicate wet conditions. The predictive nature of i-Activ allows the system to operate with minimal parasitic losses during normal driving, achieving fuel efficiency nearly identical to the two-wheel-drive models. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems complement that intelligent AWD system. Each emblem features the Mazda badge reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at high resolution with fade-resistant solvent inks. A thick dome of UV-stabilized polyurethane resin covers the print, forming a crystal-clear, scratch-resistant, waterproof surface. The adhesive is an industrial acrylic film.
