The Mazda RX-8's freestyle door system was one of the most innovative packaging solutions in modern automotive design, using rear-hinged half-doors that opened rearward from a central B-pillar-less aperture to provide genuinely usable access to the rear seats in a vehicle with the low, sleek proportions of a two-door sports coupe. The freestyle doors eliminated the compromise that conventional four-door sports sedans make — sacrificing visual drama for practicality — and the compromise that traditional coupes make — sacrificing rear-seat access for styling elegance. With both front and rear doors open, the RX-8 presented a wide, unobstructed opening that made entering and exiting the rear seats surprisingly easy despite the car's compact dimensions and low roofline and seating position. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems complement that innovative RX-8 freestyle door design. Each emblem features the Mazda badge reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at 1,440 dpi with solvent-based inks for lasting accuracy. A thick dome of UV-stabilized polyurethane resin covers the print, forming a crystal-clear, scratch-resistant, waterproof surface. The adhesive is a pre-applied industrial acrylic film. Clean the cap, peel, position the emblem, and press for thirty seconds. The bond is permanent — no tools, no clips, no drilling. Sizes from 20 mm to 120 mm. Custom diameters upon request.
