SkyActiv-X is Mazda's revolutionary petrol engine technology that uses Spark Controlled Compression Ignition — SPCCI — to achieve the efficiency benefits of diesel-like compression ignition in a petrol engine, a feat that no other manufacturer has successfully brought to mass production. SPCCI works by using a spark plug to ignite a small, rich fuel-air mixture near the plug that creates a pressure wave which then compression-ignites the remaining lean fuel-air mixture throughout the combustion chamber, combining the efficiency of compression ignition with the controllability of spark ignition. The result is an engine that delivers up to 20 percent better fuel efficiency than a conventional petrol engine while producing more torque and a more linear power delivery. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems complement that revolutionary engine technology. Each emblem features the Mazda badge reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at high resolution with fade-resistant solvent inks. A thick dome of UV-stabilized polyurethane resin covers the print, forming a crystal-clear, scratch-resistant, waterproof surface. The adhesive is a pre-applied industrial acrylic film. Clean the cap, peel, position the emblem, and press for thirty seconds. The bond is permanent — no tools, no clips, no drilling. Sizes from 20 mm to 120 mm. Custom diameters on request.
