Mandello del Lario, on Lake Como, has been Moto Guzzi’s manufacturing home since 1921, forming an important part of the brand’s history. This Sport Elite tank protector is intended for a suitable FLAT area of a motorcycle fuel tank, where it helps protect against everyday scuffs and scratches. The Collector Edition styling gives the accessory a considered visual role that complements the selected motorcycle surface without claiming a numbered release or exclusive status. Constructed from a premium vinyl base topped with a 3D domed resin coating, the product combines a defined profile with a practical protective layer. Its self-adhesive backing supports use on an appropriate flat section only; no suitability is claimed for curved, rounded or contoured areas. The surface is scratch-resistant, waterproof, tear-resistant and UV-resistant, providing measured resistance to everyday handling and outdoor conditions. The owner confirms that it also retains a neat appearance during outdoor use, though no set period or lifetime warranty has been stated. Riders can use the raised resin finish to add a distinctive detail to a flat motorcycle tank area while gaining an added barrier against common surface marks. The result is practical protection presented with a clear style, without unsupported claims about impact absorption, slipping, lifting, fading, cracking, yellowing or residue-free removal.
