The Kadett GSi Superboss is one of the most legendary Opel performance cars ever produced. Built as a South African homologation special to compete in the country's fiercely competitive Group N touring car championship, the Superboss featured a Cosworth-developed cylinder head with revised port geometry, forged pistons, sodium-filled exhaust valves, and an optimised air intake system. The result was 170 horsepower and 228 newton-meters of torque from the 2.0-liter sixteen-valve engine, with a top speed of 223 kilometers per hour. Only a limited number were produced, making surviving examples among the most collectible Opels in existence. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems carry that homologation special spirit.
