The Porsche 917 changed motorsport forever in 1970, delivering the company's first overall victory at Le Mans with a 4.5-liter flat-twelve engine that would eventually be developed into a 1,200-horsepower turbocharged Can-Am weapon. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems carry that legacy in every detail. Each emblem begins as a precision-cut vinyl disc printed at 1,440 dpi with solvent-based inks chosen specifically for outdoor durability. A generous pour of UV-stabilized polyurethane resin is then applied, self-leveling into a flawless dome that adds visual depth and a glass-like three-dimensional effect. Once cured, the resin is hard enough to shrug off gravel spray, chemically stable enough to resist brake-dust corrosion and road-salt exposure, and UV-treated to prevent yellowing even on cars parked outdoors year-round. The waterproof seal is complete — no moisture or contaminant reaches the printed surface beneath. On the back sits a factory-applied layer of industrial acrylic adhesive protected by a peel-away paper liner. Clean the cap with isopropyl alcohol, remove the liner, position the emblem, and press firmly for half a minute. The bond is permanent on metal, plastic, and painted surfaces — no heat gun, no primer, no tools required. Sizes run from 20 mm to 120 mm, covering every Porsche wheel cap from a 996 GT3 to the latest 992. Custom diameters are produced on request for any non-standard cap.
