The Duramax diesel engine has been the heart of GMC's heavy-duty truck lineup since 2001. Developed jointly by General Motors and Isuzu, the 6.6-liter V8 turbo-diesel has been continuously refined through multiple generations, each one delivering more power, better fuel efficiency, and lower emissions than the last. The current L5P generation produces 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque — nearly double the output of the original LB7 engine — and meets the strictest emissions standards without sacrificing the durability that heavy-duty truck buyers demand. The Duramax has also been offered in the midsize Colorado and Canyon trucks in a 2.8-liter four-cylinder configuration. These 3D domed wheel center cap emblems serve the entire Duramax-equipped GMC community. Each emblem features the GMC badge reproduced on premium automotive vinyl at 1,440 dpi with solvent-based inks. A thick dome of UV-stabilized polyurethane resin covers the print, forming a crystal-clear, scratch-resistant, waterproof surface. The adhesive is an industrial acrylic film. Clean the cap, peel the protective liner, position the emblem, and press for thirty seconds. The bond is permanent — no tools, no clips, no drilling. Sizes from 20 mm to 120 mm.
