The current X5 and X6 packages include widebody conversions that add aggressive fender flares, revised bumpers with carbon-fiber accents, and Hamann's signature forged wheels in sizes from 21 to 23 inches. The engine tuning for the M50i and M60i models adds approximately 60 horsepower through ECU remapping and sport air filter installation, while the exhaust system receives a valve-controlled sport unit that can switch between a refined cruise note and a full-throated performance bark at the press of a button. The suspension is lowered on sport springs to eliminate the high-riding stance that some X5 and X6 owners find aesthetically undesirable.
